Not too long ago we had the pleasure of photographing Morgan + Casey’s gorgeous wedding at the Forest House Lodge. Ever since their engagement shoot, we’ve be so excited for their wedding! And after seeing the view for ourselves, it was very clear why they picked this venue!

We started the day just like any other with getting ready shots. While the girls were getting all dolled up, the guys headed outside for a few pictures. Morgan + Casey decided against a first look with each other, but Morgan wanted one with her dad. We love those sweet little moments that are not only super special for the bride, groom, or their families, but also that make their wedding special and unique to them.

Morgan’s bridesmaids couldn’t hold back their emotions when she stepped out from behind the curtain in her dress for the first time.

We hurried off the ceremony site that was just up the road, and oh.my.goodness! It was seriously amazing! The view was stunning and it was so peaceful you could just stand there forever! For their ceremony, Morgan + Casey had 2 officiants, one from each side of their families! It was so funny to hear them go back and forth with embarrassing stories of the bride and groom. After their “I Do’s” (and lots of family pictures!) we stole the two of them for some 1 on 1 time.

Their reception details were so much fun to photograph! If you know anything about Adrienne, you know one of her favorite colors is gold so it was almost impossible to get her to stop taking pictures of the sparkly gold centerpiece cards!

A good cake cutting always involves a little bit of a mess!
