Placerville Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion Wedding

We always love photographing weddings at the Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion in Placerville, and Michelle & Aaron’s wedding was no exception. This was the first wedding we’ve done there where it didn’t rain which made it such a perfect day!

We couldn’t get enough of Michelle’s dress! We’re always huge suckers for that gorgeous applique lace but her dress had one amazing feature that every dress should have. Pockets! The dress had pockets! How amazing is that?! It really was a princess dress and she looked so stunning in it! Another of our favorite details was a ring that she wore around her neck during the whole day. As her something borrowed and something old, Michele wore her Grandmother’s ring and it was extra special because it’s her Grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary this year.

Aaron definitely thought so too! These two decided on sharing a First Look and we’re so glad they did! We love first looks for many different reasons, but the emotion of the moment just gets us every time! Aaron just couldn’t get enough of his soon to be wife and he was so determined to not cry. He almost didn’t make it!

Their ceremony was so sweet! Not only did he almost lose it again watching her walk down the aisle, but they both wrote their own vows and then it was time for their guests to cry!

Aaron’s Father’s toast had like the entire room fighting back tears! He shared how in his senior year of high school on one of his assignments he was asked what he was most proud of. His answer was that he was most proud of being a father. He even pulled out the exact paper that the assignment was on and was able to read his answer word for word. It was such a touching moment I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house!

It was very obvious the whole day just how loved Michelle & Aaron are and we are so honored to have been a part of their wedding day! Congratulations you two!!!
