If you kept up with our blog through the years, you may recognize this couple! A little over 4 years ago, we first met this couple for their engagement session. After photographing their wedding as well, we were beyond thrilled when Brittany asked us to photograph their maternity photos! When Brittany said she wanted to do their session in the snow, we were totally on board but then came the hard part, getting the weather to cooperate! After a couple of reschedulings, we made it up to the snow just in between some major winter storms and road closures! But it was so worth it!!!

These two were such troopers! To try and beat the crowds and the weather, we ended up going for a sunrise session and it was only 17 degrees! Now I don’t know about y’all, but we are California girls through and through, and while a visit to the snow is nice, we’re so glad we don’t have to live in it! Not only was just plain freezing, but there was tons of snow on the ground and let’s just say there were plenty of times where Dani and I almost fell flat on our butts! Brittany and Jon were amazing and made trekking through the snow look easy! Thankfully it didn’t snow too hard while we were there, only a few flurries throughout the session. The sun even came out to play for just a little bit!

When we saw Britany’s blue dress (and Jon’s matching tie!) we just knew their session was going to be gorgeous! And we absolutely loved the pair of baby Converse! We couldn’t be happier for this amazing couple, and we’re so honored to be able to photograph their growing family. We can’t wait to meet Baby Logan when he makes his debut in April!
