Carissa + Spencer’s engagement session at the Capitol Park downtown was one we won’t soon forget! We met up earlier in the summer and the temperatures were sweltering! Being from San Diego, these two were not used to the higher heat but they were such champs and totally rocked their session!

Carissa + Spencer met in college and with them both playing on sports teams for their college the were introduced through a mutual friend. At first, Carissa says she was hesitant, but once they met, the pair instantly clicked.

Their proposal is like it came straight from a romance novel! After dating for 5 years, the two went on a fun little beach trip to Santa Cruz and as the sun set behind an adorable lighthouse, Spencer got down on one knee and popped the question.

These two are everything that we look for in our couples : Fun loving and completely in love with each other. When we met up with them downtown, they had balloons and sparklers! How amazing is that. We’re so excited to share their engagement session with you today!
