We met up with Breanna and Troy at the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park for a beautiful sunset engagement shoot. Originally, they weren’t going to take advantage of the complimentary shoot that came with their wedding package, but I’m so glad they changed their minds!
These two were so much fun to photograph! Their entire session was just full of giggles and all kinds of silliness. I don’t think Troy could be serious even if he tried! But it worked out perfectly for us because he made Breanna smile the entire session.
With all the old brick, wood, and stone textures, Powerhouse park gives off that great “historic” feel and it provided some great backdrops for their photos.
Seriously how cute are these two?! They just could not get rid of their huge grins! And that’s one of the best parts of engagement shoots. You get a little bit of a glimpse of why they’re getting married.
After walking around to every spot we could get to, we heading back to the fun old brick for a few quick shots, and they ended up being some of our favorites from the whole session. That’s why we never ignore our brains when inspiration strikes!
After getting to know these two a little better, we’re super excited for their wedding in August!
