At the beginning of December, we shot Samantha and Thomas’ engagement pictures. Since these two are usually busy in the evenings, they decided to have their session in the morning. Even though it was very chilly in the morning, they were great sports and super fun to hang out with.
We started out taking a few pictures at their house. They had just gotten a puppy and wanted her to be a part of the shoot. She was so cute, even if she was really excited. We love having puppies be a part of couples’ engagement shoots! For a puppy, she was very well behaved and didn’t try to bark or run away at all!
Then we headed over to William Land Park. It was a bit cold and dewy, but the sunlight and trees were so pretty. We absolutely loved the look of these stone structures with the pretty trees in background.
They had an awesome idea to walk over to the golf course for some pictures with some cute fencing. And seriously? How beautiful is Samantha’s engagement ring?!
After the park, they wanted to head to Old Sacramento for a few more formal shots.
