Earlier this month we had the amazing pleasure of photographing Maren and Robert for their engagement pictures. We were so excited that they chose the Sacramento LDS Temple for their location. It was really fun to return to the place where we photographed our first wedding as a team.

The moment we arrived at the Temple these two were inseparable! And they’re so cute together! During their entire session they were nothing but giggles and smiles. We hardly had to make any of our signature cheesy jokes!

 

Sadly Robert lives in North Dakota and was only in town for a long weekend. Because of their long distance relationship, Robert was waiting to propose until he got to do it in person. We felt so honored to witness him giving Maren her gorgeous ring. We may or may not have gotten a little teary eyed….we’ll never tell!

After a quick tissue break, we headed off to get more amazing pictures of the love birds.

It was easy to see that these two are crazy about each other!

Most of the time I swear it was like they forgot we were taking pictures, which always works out great for us! We love capturing those moments when you think no one is paying attention. That’s where all the best pictures come from.

The Sacramento Temple is such a beautiful place to take photos. Not only does all the greenery make a great back drop, but the temple itself is fabulous.

Just as the sun was starting to set we headed back to the grass for just a few more pictures.

After this amazing session, we are super excited for their wedding in April. Congratulations you two!!!
