In mid-March we met up with Shannon and Eric at the UC Davis Arboretum for their engagement shoot. It was a great day, despite some early clouds but when the sun finally came out as it was setting, it was gorgeous!

The two of them are big beer fans and they wanted to incorporate a little of that into their engagement session. It’s especially fitting that their wedding is going to be at a Davis Brewery. We knew they were serious beer fans when they told us that they’re wedding would have their own personal brew on tap for all their friends and family!

We were so excited when they brought their dog along for the session as well. We love working with animals and let’s face it, fur babies are a part of the family too! While crossing over a bridge we found a cute message carved into the wood and we just couldn’t resist such a cute opportunity.

While walking around the Arboretum we found lots of pretty flowers! The arboretum is such a great place for greenery and color! We love that they both trusted us enough to sit on the grass.

Right at the end of the shoot, the sunset peaked through the clouds and we took full advantage of it. We love the glowy goodness of a good sunset and this one was no exception. It was well worth the wait! After their amazing engagement session we can’t wait for their wedding later this year at Ruhstaller Farm!
