We met up with Lauren + Jonathon at one of our favorite places, the UCD Arboretum, for their engagement shoot and we had such a blast with these two.

We are suckers for a good love story, so it’s always really fun to hear the story of how our couples got engaged.

We have been together for 5 years, living together for 3. We have been planning on getting engaged when I graduate this spring, so I knew it was coming! We picked out the ring together but he wouldn’t tell me when he was going to give it to me. One night while I was making dinner, he had it out on the table for about 20 minutes before I noticed it! When I finally noticed it, he asked me to marry him!

Lauren and Jonathon were so great during their session, it’s easy to see why they are getting married! We know it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding!

Their wedding date is set for next year, and even though it feels so far away we can’t wait. They will be getting married at a family members house near davis. How amazing is that! We love it when you can make your wedding super special, and save a little money to boot!
