After seeing Brittany and Jon’s engagement pictures, some of Brittany’s family decided they wanted to us to do their family portraits for Christmas cards. Their family is seriously awesome to work with and we had lots of fun spending the afternoon with them, even if it kept threatening to rain on us!
We started at their home so that their dogs could be in a few of their photos. I wish our dog could be as well behaved as theirs were! They were so good, they didn’t run away or bark. We think they even smiled for us a little bit!
Then we headed over to Elk Grove Park for the rest of their shoot. We love shooting in the Fall! There’s always fun leaves to play in and they’re always gorgeous colors! It’s definitely one of our go to ways to make the kids feel more comfortable during a session.
We were a little worried that this session wasn’t going to happen! On our drive over to the park, it had started raining on us! Thankfully, once we arrived at the park, it stopped raining.
We had to take the next shot quite quickly. There was a tiny pond behind us and the geese were after us!
