You may remember Breanna and Troy from their engagement pictures we did earlier this year. We can’t believe their wedding date has passed, but we’re so grateful to be a part of their gorgeous wedding day! When they said that their wedding colors would be fall colors, we were so excited! Fall is our favorite season and seeing all their amazing details made us even more excited for it.
We started with a few pictures of the bride and groom getting ready. Since the guys always seem to be ready sooner, Troy made himself busy by helping decorate the reception area.
With all the hustle and bustle it seemed that the ceremony snuck up on us!
Before they went off to party hardy, we did some quick portraits of their bridal party and family members.
We love it when our clients have fun with their portraits! It’s your wedding day, it’s supposed to be fun, happy, and sometimes a little silly.
Breanna’s bouquet was simply stunning! Our jaws just dropped when we saw it. We also heard through the grapevine that they made and decorated their own cake. How cool is that?! They really did an amazing job and the leaves on it just look absolutely fabulous!
After a grand entrance and a quick meal, it was time for their first dance as husband and wife. When we heard they had also made their head table backdrop themselves we thought of a great way to show it off in their pictures.
They were a very DIY bride and groom, which was super awesome. Not only did they make their own backdrop and cake, they always made their own candles as a special gift for all of their guests. After cutting their cake (which was amazingly delicious! Red velvet cake is Adrienne’s favorite!) it was time for the dancing! During a brutal dance off, one of their guests had a minor wardrobe malfunction. Thankfully he had some replacement pants.
We ended the evening with the bouquet and garter toss (and A LOT more dancing)
