Early in June we had the pleasure of photographing Samantha and Thomas’ Downtown Sacramento wedding at Lucca Restaurant. After their engagement session, we couldn’t wait for thier wedding!Their wedding was so cute and intimate and we can’t wait to share it.

We started off the day with their “First Look” just down the street at The Memorial Auditorium. This is one of our favorite parts of a wedding day! Being able to see both of their excitement and nerves, and then just watch it all melt away the moment they see each other, is always so special!

It was great to see the reaction they had seeing each other for the first time. It was really sweet too being able to tell how nervous and yet excited each of them were.

After their first look we headed to the restaurant where Samantha and Thomas greeted their guests before the ceremony.

Their reception was very laid back and super sweet. We loved their wedding cake! The design was simple and yet very interesting.

After a few toasts and cutting the cake, they ended with their first dance together as husband and wife.

It was great getting to know this amazing couple and to have the amazing opportunity to capture their love story through their engagement and wedding photos.
