After such an awesome engagement session, we were so excited for Maren + Robert’s wedding. It was such a nice day in April, not too hot, not too cool but just right. After hearing all the details and plans for their wedding fall into place, we just couldn’t wait to see how it all turned out.
Despite having their wedding in the evening, we started the pictures early. With so many girls getting their hair done, it was good to have so much extra time.
After the beauty prepping, we headed back to Maren’s house for some lunch and lots of detail pictures!
We had A LOT of time for detail shots. But before we knew it, time had just flown on by and it was time to head to their first look location.
Maren’s daughter was just too cute! A few moments before that picture of her holding the back of Maren’s wedding dress, Aria had noticed a bit of dirt on mommy’s dress and was tying to wipe it away…with her face! I told you she was adorable.
After a quick first look, we headed off to their church building for family pictures. The family wanted a great picture to commemorate that Maren’s grandmother and mother were both able to attend her wedding.
With a few more detail shots of the bouquet, we were off to the main event!
See we weren’t lying about her daughter being adorable! During Maren and Robert’s first kiss as husband and wife, Aria just had to jump in and be a part of it. After a short and sweet ceremony it was time to party! Robert surprised Maren by serenading her with a beautiful song. Then he gave her daughter a charm to go with a necklace he had previously bought for her. It was so hard not to cry during the first parts of their reception, it was so touching.
After a quick tissue break, they busted out the music and started boogieing.
Then it was time for the best part, the cake!
They ended the night with the garter toss and more dancing. After taking their pictures, it was easy to tell just how crazy about each other Maren + Robert are. Congratulations you two and we wish you many happy years together!
