I have been waiting to blog Ashley + Chris’s wedding and I just don’t think I can hold back anymore! Everything about their big day was so amazing. From the bride’s amazing dress (and beautiful veil) to the couples steamy first dance, the whole day was fantastic and we couldn’t have been happier to photograph it!
Ashley + Chris had their ceremony at the St James Catholic Church in Davis. Even though it was a smaller interior than most Catholic Churches we’ve photographed, I think that made it feel even more special and intimate. You could really feel the joy from all their guests at being able to witness this great moment between the couple.
After the ceremony, we headed on over the the Granite Bay Golf Club for their couples portraits and their reception. Let me just say, thank goodness for their wedding coordinator Kelle and her sweet limo golf cart! With temperatures in the 100s we were so grateful that we didn’t have to walk all over the club grounds for photos. Also having ice water was a great bonus (and we’re proud to say no one fell off the cart!).
After portraits it was time for the extra fun part of the day… the party!
Ok y’all…seriously… these two put even my best dance moves to shame!! Their first dance was simply amazing and they chose a great song! Ashley’s dress gives me serious twirl envy and I really loved how they called up their bridal party at the end to join in.
Congratulations Ashley + Chris! We wish you both many more years of happiness together!
