At the end of May, we had the privilege of photographing Kara and Michael’s beautiful wedding at the Sierra Banquet Center in Camino. It was such a beautiful venue and the weather cooperated beautifully!
We arrived a little early to snap some pictures of some of the awesome details and a few pictures of the ladies before the big event. We were instantly won over by the slightly “nerdy” details to their decor. We both LOVE Harry Potter and The Nightmare Before Christmas cake topper totally spoke to our childhood memories.
Their ceremony was so beautiful! It was a cute little lawn surrounded by all kinds of awesome plants and flowers. There was even a great wooden platform for the bridal party to stand on. It was also really great to see how much fun everyone was having! Every single person at their wedding was wearing a huge smile on their face.
After the ceremony we stole the newlyweds for a few quick family pictures and some more intimate formal portraits before letting them get back to the partying.
Let me tell ya, these people know how to party! After all the usual reception festivities, they opened up the dance floor and it was on! We couldn’t stop laughing and having a great time watching all their guests bust a move.
