When we heard that Kathy and Brian were engaged, we were so happy for them. So you can imagine our excitement when Brian contacted us about being the photographers for their big day. Brian and Adrienne’s father are both teachers at the same school so it was super exciting for us to get to capture all their amazing memories.
When we arrived at La Provence Restaurant everyone was ready to go and we couldn’t wait to get to the fun part! With just a few pictures, we headed straight into the ceremony.
Part of the reason they chose this gorgeous venue was because Kathy had fallen in love with the huge oak tree they had on their property. Sadly when they went to visit their venue again, some strong winds had knocked it over and all that remained was a stump. Thankfully there was still a beautiful tree just across from it.
After a quick guest meet and greet as they headed off to the reception, we stole the Bride and Groom for some pictures.
Even though all that remained of Kathy’s favorite tree was just a stump, we figured out the perfect way to incorporate it into their pictures so they could at least have some memories of it.
Their reception was very laid back and relaxing, And due to some very large umbrellas, everyone was able to stay shady and beat the summer afternoon heat.
