From the moment Mckell contacted us, we knew her and Matt’s wedding was going to be perfect. Her opening line in her inquiry said: “We are planning a glam, sparkly, winter wedding straight out of a hallmark movie!”. We were hooked and boy they did not disappoint!
Winter Sacramento Sterling Hotel Wedding
They couldn’t have picked a better venue for their dream day either! The Sterling Hotel in Downtown Sacramento made all their glittery decorations sparkle all the brighter! This may sound crazy, but these two planned their entire wedding… in just about 8 months! When something is so right, why wait am I right?! They knew right from the beginning to just rip off the band-aid of intimidating wedding planning and not draw it out.
Being a winter wedding, we were so glad that McKell and Matt were both fully on board with a first look as well as portraits before their ceremony. Thankfully the rain from the last few weeks stayed away and it was perfect! During their ceremony, they had a special officiant! It was their friend (and McKell’s ex-boss!) who had originally set them up together! How amazing is that! We had such a blast hanging out with their closest friends and family all day. They all made us feel like a part of the family. From a little family history lesson from some aunts & uncles to laughing it up with their bridal party, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!!!
