There’s one thing we kept hearing at Monica and Jeff’s McKinley Park Rose Garden Wedding… It’s about time! These two have been together for 10 years! The day before their 10 year anniversary Jeff surprised her by popping the question as she got home from work. These two are such an amazing couple and we’re so excited to show off their wedding today!

If you’ve ever been a part of a wedding before where the bride and groom are not seeing each other before the ceremony, you know how stressful it can be trying to have the bride and groom avoid each other and that’s just at the venue! Monica and Jeff were both getting ready at the same house the morning of their wedding! When we were shooting the bridals details we had to make sure that Jeff was hidden away where he couldn’t catch a sneak peek. It was great for photos though! Having both the bride and groom in the same place made gathering all the details super easy.

Any couple that chooses to have their wedding in mid to late August, you know they must be in love! Because of the heat they said they wanted their ceremony to be super short, and they weren’t kidding! Even though it was super short, they didn’t skimp on the adorableness. One of our favorite parts of photographing weddings is having a front-row seat to the groom seeing his bride for the first time. Jeff was so eager to peek at his bride, and once he caught a look at her it wasn’t just the high temperatures making things melt! Not only that but Monica walked down the aisle to the theme from The Princess Bride! How awesome is that?! One of our favorite parts of the day was a small exchange between the new Mr. and Mrs. right after the ceremony. They both looked at each other before Monica said to her new husband “you look so good!” “I look good?! You look good!”
