Real talk? I cried. Meaghan & Sean’s day at The Maples Woodland in Woodland, CA was just that kind of wedding. The joyful atmosphere, their people, and the way their family and friends cried just as hard as they did during their ceremony. Their day unfolded in such a perfect way that was meant for them. Just the best.

The Maples Woodland Bride and Groom Attire

Meaghan’s ivory, flowy gown with a cape instead of a veil moved beautifully through every moment of the day and really worked with the wind for their couple’s portraits. Sean’s light grey suit with green tie stood up to every setting The Maples Woodland offered. Their wedding day look was built for real moments, not just portraits. Especially after Meaghan gave up on her heels after their first look, opting to wear her comfy sneakers the rest of the day.

Meaghan & Sean understood that their wedding party was part of the visual story at The Maples. The forest green silk dresses in different styles with matching sunflower bouquets carried the light-hearted joy all the way through. You can feel it in every group shot together.

The best thing about Meaghan & Sean’s wedding at The Maples? It looked like them. Joyful without being an overdone mood board. The minimalist ceremony space utilizing the Maples best feature, and the rainy, cozy Fall vibes without feeling overdone. Just a really gorgoeus day.

What we’ll remember most from this wedding day is just how joyful and true to the couple it was. They weren’t afraid to plan every detail just how they wanted it. They didn’t stop their emotions from getting the best of them. They laughed til their sides hurt, and they cried tears of joy so freely. Their closest family and friends couldn’t help but let their emotions show throughout the day. Their wedding day was just so full of love that it makes your heart feel so full.
