We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our 2021 wedding season than with Desiree and Paul’s Winter Wedding in Petaluma! Their joy and just plain excitement for their love and their marriage permeated throughout the entire day and it was so much fun to witness two people just head over heels in love, celebrating with those they love the most.
Desiree was the type who swore she’d never marry again. But that would all change Christmas Eve 2019. At her mother’s house, in front of her whole family, Paul would ask her to marry him and she quickly changed her mind. since they both had been married before, Desiree and Paul opted for a not-so-traditional wedding this go around, and we loved every second of it! They really made it all about their love for themselves and their family, with Desiree’s brother being the officiant and their wedding party being all family.
We always hear the best stories about our couples during the toasts at the reception. It’s such a joy to listen to the embarrassing stories and hear just how loved they are. But our favorite moment came from Desiree herself when she turned to Paul and said “I love you, we got this dude!” It summed up their relationship perfectly with the playful tone we’ve come to love about them both.
