Well, that was the way Elaine & Nick’s Piedmont Park Wedding began.

Piedmont Park couldn’t have been a better choice for this couple’s wedding venue. With its cozy, intimate ceremony space and its open reception setup, it’s easy to see why so many couples choose to have this incredible community center as the backdrop for their wedding day. One of our favorite features is the stairs leading down to their ceremony space. Not only does it allow for a fabulous grand entrance for your aisle walk, but it also allows us to get some truly incredible full ceremony photos of you and your guests. Next to their ceremony space, are tree-lined trails perfect for capturing your just-married portraits and giving you the perfect hidden forest vibes for your photos.

Planning a wedding at Piedmont Park doesn’t take a lot of effort to make the most of this stunning location. Especially if you hire a professional wedding planner, you won’t have to worry about a thing. When organizing the timeline, account for the best lighting conditions for your ceremony and reception to ensure your photos capture the natural beauty of the park. We find the best time to start your ceremony is two to three hours before sunset to really get that golden light for your ceremony and a dreamy sunset for your reception.
