Like many couples this past year, Laura and Cody’s wedding plans were interrupted by Covid. When we asked them how tough it had been, Cody answered without hesitation “a nightmare”. But all the tough choices (and patience!) paid off in the end. They were finally able to tie the knot, with their most cherished friends and family in attendance.
These two met like most couples, through an online dating app. After a few weeks they met for their first date and it went so well, they set up their second date right then and there.

Laura and Cody are proof positive that even though Covid has put things on pause, you can still have a fabulous wedding day and make it unique to you. During their ceremony, they had their adorable pup, Maddie, as their flower girl complete with a flower collar! When it was time for the rings, Cody whistled and Maddie came running down the aisle, so excited to be helping and a part of the fun.
One of our favorite parts of the day though, had to be right as Laura was coming down the aisle. Before he had even seen her, Cody was already a bundle of emotion. He couldn’t contain the tears as both of her parents walked her down the aisle. When Laura approached the archway, she too couldn’t hold back her tears of joy. “Now don’t you start!” Cody joked, and we’re pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
We’re so honored that these two chose to have us there to capture their precious memories and be among those closest to them for their big day. Even though it may not have been quite like they planned, their day was nothing short of incredible and filled with so much love!
