We’re so excited to share a sneak peek of our first wedding of 2017! Even though it was a wet and rainy one, Rebecca + Michael wouldn’t let that dampen their spirits!
This wedding wasn’t like a typical wedding we usually shoot. Rebecca + Michael originally got married in Yosemite National Park a few months back. At the ceremony they were only allowed a few guests, so to really celebrate with all their family and friends they decided to have a separate reception at the Flower Farm Inn.
This awesome couple works in Alaska for a large chunk of the year so their reception was the first chance we got to meet them. They found us straight away and right from the beginning, we knew they were going to be awesome! During getting ready photos we chatted and tried to stay dry. They told us about Rebecca’s necklace being made from Michael’s grandmother’s engagement ring (how cool is that?!) and we loved Michael’s bear cuff links! Very suitable for a bear biologist.
Even though it was raining, we would not be stopped from getting a few portraits of these two. They were such good sports and didn’t mind the rain one bit! Their reception was so much fun too! It never gets old listen to family and friends make their toasts to the bride groom.
