After photographing Krissy + Chris’ engagement session, we just couldn’t wait for their wedding. From all of Krissy’s handmade decorations to her gorgeous princess like wedding gown, everything was perfect! They didn’t even let a little bit of rain ruin their fun.

For their wedding, we made our second trip up to the Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion this year. We had been closely watching the weather for the weekend and found out it was going to be quite rainy. But Krissy + Chris didn’t let that get them down. Before the ceremony they hid just a hallways length away from each other and it was so cute to see the excitement in both of their faces. These two high school sweethearts would soon be tying the knot!

Since is was pouring rain outside, Krissy + Chris had their ceremony inside. Even though it was small and a tight fit, it felt that much more intimate and cozy. After clearing out some chairs for the family portraits, we realized that we hadn’t taken many pictures of the 2 of them by themselves, and with the rain still going strong we didn’t have a lot of options. However we came prepared! Since we knew of the rain beforehand, we brought an umbrella! And with a little persuading, Krissy + Chris agreed to let us get a little creative. After the shots in the rain, we all ran inside excited to show their closest friends and family the magic!

Before their dances with their parents, Krissy + Chris hadn’t told them what songs they had chosen. It was so amazing to watch Krissy’s father’s reaction as he realized she had chosen a song that was special to them both.
