We truly love our jobs as photographers. It’s allowed us to meet some amazing individuals. When we met with Lynnette, we knew we had met yet another great person. We met very briefly, on her lunch break, and we instantly hit it off. She told us about her dual jobs as both a belly dancer and a librarian (that is an awesome combo, by the way) and when she mentioned that her wedding would take place at a plantation style house, we were hooked!
When we pulled up to the venue, it took our breath away! We were so jealous that her friend gets to live in such an amazingly beautiful house every day. We started pictures of like usual, with a few getting ready pictures. Lynnette and Charles opted for a more traditional approach of not seeing each other before the ceremony. We almost blew it though! During a few pictures on the staircase Charles walked right by! Thankfully he didn’t notice us, or at least he pretended not to.
The temperatures had climbed quite high that day, but even that couldn’t ruin such a beautiful wedding. All the decorations were gorgeous (my personal favorite was the chandelier) and you could just see the joy on everyone’s faces. During the ceremony, Lynnette’s daughter serenaded everyone not once but twice. It was a real treat.
For the formal portraits, we just couldn’t resist the front of the house. The lighting was perfect and it offered us a little more privacy from the guests during cocktail hour.
Lynnette + Charles had a great wedding and it was so great to see a couple so in love with each other.
