With a perfect blend of lavender and yellow, this Sequoia Mansion Placerville Wedding was the perfect way to end the summer. With the kind of love that makes you laugh so hard your nose wrinkles, Kendra and James were just beaming all day long. After postponing their wedding in 2020, they finally said “I do!” after 10 years together, and we think it was well worth the wait.
Kendra and James met in their freshman year of undergrad when they were both just 18. After being together for a few years, it was time to pop the question. With a love as big as theirs, James couldn’t make it just any ordinary day! In the morning, he started by taking Kendra on a hike where they had a little picnic lunch. After some much-needed r&r getting massages (and a trip to a burger joint), they ended the day with a scavenger hunt around the town. As Kendra finished the hunt, it led her straight to the center of town, right where James was waiting for her, with a very important question. Of course, she said yes! And they ended the day in the best way, with a shiny new ring and ice cream!
One of our favorite parts of their wedding day was their first look! OMG talk about adorable! When Kendra and James are together, their faces just light up and their true selves emerge. They make each other laugh in such a genuine, heartwarming way, you really can’t help but say “aww!” and smile yourself.
From the time spent getting ready with her best friends to the moment she raced onto the dance floor to bust a move with her dad, Kendra was absolutely glowing. And when she walked down the aisle in her stunning gown, no one could take their eyes off of her. Especially James. All day long, the two just radiated happiness and you could really tell from the smiles and celebrations from their families and friends, that they are so loved.
Congratulations Kendra and James!!! Dani and I are so, so honored that we were a part of your wedding day and we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
