Usually, when we photograph our couples, we can tell why they’re getting married. Nomieya & Yao are no exception! From the moment we arrived for their Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion wedding, these two were so excited and ready to get married!
We always hope that winter weddings will play nice and have great weather, but it seems that any wedding in January is doomed to be rainy! But these two weren’t going to let a little rain (and a lot of wind) put a damper on their day! Nomieya, Yao, and their entire bridal party were just so excited they were such troopers dealing with the weather! Seriously they braved a day with a high of 48 degrees!
Now, if you know us, you know how we love First Looks! Nomieya & Yao’s reactions to seeing each other for the first time is exactly why!! We just love how Yao makes her laugh! It’s always that good, scrunchy nose kind of laughter. That is true love right there!
Seriously though these two are the sweetest, kindest people. All day they worried about us in the rain and they even gave us their plate of snacks during cocktail hour! Congratulations you two! We couldn’t be happier for you both and it was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day!
PS: We’re totally starting a new tradition! An A&D Sandwich with all our couples! Also, don’t mind our crazy windblown/rain-soaked hair!
