For today’s post, we have a bit of something personal! We love getting to know our clients personally and we like you guys to get to know us as well, so we figured why not talk about one of our favorite subjects: Our fur babies!!!

After our 10 year old golden chow, Clara, passed away earlier this year, we were left with an emotional hole in our lives. Dani and I are huge dog lovers and it just crushed us when Clara passed. We knew that someday we’d get another dog but we didn’t expect it to happen so fast and we definitely didn’t expect to get two!

One day I had been absentmindedly browsing craigslist and we came across a listing for Australian Sheppard puppies. The first dog I ever had was an australian sheppard and she was the greatest dog. So smart and loyal, she was my best friend when I was very little. Because of her I became a lifelong lover of the breed.

So I just couldn’t help it and I had to look at the listing. It really was love at first sight! We instantly contacted the poster and put a deposit down for a Tri-Colored female puppy and on my sister’s birthday, we went and picked her up.

We made a short trip and from the moment we saw her, we knew we had made the right choice! In the same litter, there were two tri-colored females, and as far as we knew, the other little girl was going to be going to a different home. However, when we went to pick up our puppy, he had informed us that the person who was going to adopt the other girl had changed their mind. He asked if we wanted to hold her, and the rest is history! She instantly started licking my face and I just couldn’t say no to her adorable freckles! We also really loved the idea of keeping the sisters together!

Here they are at 8 weeks old, just a few days after bringing them home.
