After photographing their engagement session, we just couldn’t wait for Pao and Duane’s Grand Island Mansion Wedding! We can’t believe we finally get to share their incredible day with everyone!
These two meet back in 2015 as they were attending the same church. Their relationship started in the best way, as a friendship that grew into something more. After trying to catch her attention, Duane knew he had to take her out to the place where miracles happen… Denny’s! Just four years later, He knew he had found the one and wanted to make it official. While they were vacationing in Japan, he popped the question. At first, Pao thought he was joking because he didn’t have a ring thanks to a delivery mishap. But once they got back to the US, they went out on a date night where he proposed again at the Benicia Marina just before dinner. It’s not often that you hear of not one, but two different proposals! That’s how you know their love really is the stuff of magic!
Even though this was part 2 of their wedding (after first being married on their original wedding date in 2020) there was no shortage of love! Not only between Pao and Duane, but from their friends and family that joined them to celebrate. These two are so loved by so many and it was truly fantastic to see just how many lives they have touched.
If we had to pick a favorite part of the day, it’s a tough choice! But we think we’d have to say that as they both read their vows to each other there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! There was laughter, tears, and at the end of each of their vows everyone in attendance let out a soft “Aww”.
When we first met they told us one of the things they were most looking forward to seeing in their wedding photos was fabulous photos of the two of them. I think we captured exactly that! Between Pao’s gorgeous gown, Duane’s snazzy suit, and the way they look at each other with such a sense of love, you just can’t go wrong!
Pao & Duane, over the last 2 years it’s been such an honor to get to know you both and witness such a strong love between two people so committed to each other and to their faith. We’re so proud of all that you’ve accomplished and been through to get here, we love you both, and congratulations on your wedding day! We wish you many more years of love and happiness together.
